The moisture content of paper that produces printing static electricity must be significantly low. When measured with a rapid moisture tester, some moisture content is less than 3%. It seems that the magnitude of printing electrostatic phenomenon (i.e. the degree of electrification) is inversely proportional to the moisture content of the paper. This is because the drier the paper is, the greater the surface resistance is, and the static electricity is formed due to friction during paper conveying, so the current generated is difficult to flow and stays. In this case, if there is more moisture in the air around the printing environment, the electrostatic charge on the paper will be quickly transferred to the air to avoid failure. Through the implementation of preventive measures, the effect of eliminating or weakening static electricity can be achieved. First, adjust the temperature and humidity of the printing workshop and the paper warehouse to maintain a relative balance. Generally, the temperature is controlled between 18 ℃ ~20 ℃, and the relative humidity is maintained at 60% - 65%. If the paper is heavily electrostatic, the relative humidity of the workshop can be adjusted to 80% - 85%; The second is to hang the paper. The thickness of each piece of paper should be within 100, and the looser the paper is, the better. 2.
